The Hupman Brothers, Scott and Ryan, will close out the Friends of the Kentville Public Library’s Summer Concert Series Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in Kentville’s Centre Square.
The duo opened the series in mid-June and offered to round it out to put an exclamation point on what has been an entertaining summer line-up.
Frances Schagen, chair of the volunteer group working to site and build a new library in Kentville, said Tuesday, “the Friends of the Kentville Public Library are thrilled with the way our local entertainers and sponsors have stepped up to help. Our aim has been to let people know we are working toward building a new library in Kentville that will be a beautiful place where people can gather, just like we’ve been doing all summer in Centre Square.”
The concert series was designed to raise awareness of the new library project. It was co-sponsored by The Kings County Advertiser, K-Rock 89.3, the Town of Kentville and Long and McQuade.
