Have you ever heard the expression, “You’re among friends” and marveled at how good it made you feel? There’s an opportunity in Kings County right now to share in the creation of something wonderful and to experience the incredible connection friends enjoy, as we participate in the exciting process of building our new Library!
In order for the project to reach its full potential and to leverage potential donors and grantors, we need to build our paid membership numbers. That means we need you! Everyone who joins is making an investment in our community as well as in the new Library, which will be a benefit for all residents and business owners, now and in the future.
Being a Friend means knowing you are making a real contribution to ensure that your library remains a vital presence in the community, a place of pride not only for individuals, but for businesses and entrepreneurs who understand and embrace the value of enhanced literacy and the social and economic value it brings.
Interested? We hope so. Come on over for a hot dog and a drink, acknowledge our community sponsors and get involved. Or, if you prefer, drop your membership fee off at the Kentville Library, The Advertiser or K-Rock 89.3. Membership fee is just $5 ($10 for family or $25 for corporate membership) and lasts for the duration of the entire project.
For more information, visit the Kentville Library or contact Frances Schagen (Chair) or Ginny Evans (Co-Chair) at (902) 678-4411.
